Eduard Murzayev (* 19. May 1908 in Simferopol; † 1. August 1998 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Geograph und Ortsnamenskundler. He was 90 years old. He studied at The Faculty of Geography and Geoecology. He worked at Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He received 8 awards, including Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order of the Badge of Honour. He was buried at Donskoe cemetery.
