Biography of Edward Caird

Edward Caird (* 23. March 1835 in Greenock; † 1. November 1908 in Oxford) was a schottischer Philosoph. He was 73 years old. His education included University of Glasgow, Balliol College and Greenock Academy. He worked at University of Oxford and University of Glasgow. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Doctor of Letters and Fellow of the British Academy. He was buried at St Sepulchre's Cemetery.
