Biography of Edward Maunde Thompson

Edward Maunde Thompson (* 4. May 1840 in Saint Ann's Bay; † 14. September 1929 in London) was a britischer Bibliothekar und Paläograph. He was 89 years old. His education included Rugby School and University College, Oxford. He worked at British Museum. His awards include Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath and Fellow of the British Academy. He was buried at Brookwood Cemetery.
