Biography of Edward Michael Egan

Edward Egan (* 2. April 1932 in Oak Park; † 5. March 2015 in Manhattan) was an american Catholic cardinal. He was 82 years old. His education included Pontifical Gregorian University, University of Saint Mary of the Lake and Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Knight Grand Cross in the Order of the Holy Sepulchre and honorary doctor of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University. His cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was buried at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
