Biography of Edward Rhodes Stitt

Edward Rhodes Stitt (* 22. July 1867 in Charlotte; † 13. November 1948 in Walter Reed National Military Medical Center) was an admiral, naval surgeon and author. He was 81 years old. His education included University of South Carolina, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He worked at United States Navy. He was awarded the Navy Cross. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
