Biography of Edward Tuckerman

Edward Tuckerman (* 7. December 1817 in Boston; † 15. March 1886 in Amherst) was an uS-amerikanischer Botaniker und Flechtenkundler. He was 68 years old. He was married to Sarah Eliza Sigourney Tuckerman. His education included Harvard Law School, Union College and Harvard Divinity School. He worked at Amherst College. He was awarded the Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
