Biography of Eilif Peterssen

Eilif Peterssen (* 4. September 1852 in Christiania; † 29. December 1928 in Lysaker) was a norwegischer Maler. He was 76 years old. He was married to Nicoline Peterssen. His education included Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Academy of Fine Arts, Munich and Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry. His awards include Knight of the Order of St. Olav‎, Commander of the Order of St. Olav‎ and Knight Officer of the Order of the Polar Star.
