Biography of Elizabeth Bishop

Elizabeth Bishop (* 8. February 1911 in Worcester; † 6. October 1979 in Boston) was an uS-amerikanische Dichterin und Schriftstellerin. She was 68 years old. Her education included Walnut Hill School, Vassar College and Saugus High School. She worked at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Washington. She received 8 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Neustadt International Prize for Literature. Her cause of death was intracranial aneurysm. She was buried at Hope Cemetery.
