Biography of Elizabeth Maitland, Duchess of Lauderdale

Elizabeth Maitland, Duchess of Lauderdale (* 28. September 1626 in London; † 5. June 1698 in Ham House) was a scottish noblewoman. She was 71 years old. She was married to Sir Lionel Tollemache, 3rd Baronet and John Maitland, 1. Duke of Lauderdale. She had at least 4 children (3 sons and 1 daughter). She was buried at St Peter's Church, Petersham.
