Elmer P. Yates (* 19. December 1917 in Bangor; † 14. August 2011 in Ogdensburg) was an uS Army General. He was 93 years old. His education included United States Military Academy, Bangor High School, Stanton Preparatory Academy, United States Army Command and General Staff College, Cornell University Graduate School and National War College. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
