Biography of Elso S. Barghoorn

Elso S. Barghoorn (* 30. June 1915 in New York City; † 27. January 1984) was an uS-amerikanischer Paläontologe und Botaniker. He was 68 years old. His education included Harvard University and Miami University. He worked at Harvard University and Amherst College. His awards include Charles Doolittle Walcott Medal, Hayden Memorial Geological Award and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
