Emil Buchar (* 4. August 1901 in Lázně Bělohrad; † 20. September 1979 in Příbram) was a tschechoslowakischer Astronom und Geodät. He was 78 years old. His education included Faculty of Science, Charles University and Examination Board for Teachers at Secondary Schools of Charles University. He worked at Center of Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics.
