Emil Loteanu (* 6. November 1936 in Clocușna; † 18. April 2003 in Moscow) was a moldovan filmmaker. He was 66 years old. His education included Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography and Saint Sava College. His faith was Moldovan Orthodox Church. His awards include Order of the Republic, People's Artist of the RSFSR and "Mihai Eminescu" Medal. He was buried at Vagankovo Cemetery.
