Biography of Emil Wiesel

Emil Wiesel (* 1. March 1866 in Saint Petersburg; † 2. May 1943 in Saint Petersburg) was a russian painter. He was 77 years old. His education included Imperial St. Petersburg University and Higher Art School at the Imperial Academy of Arts. He worked at Hermitage Museum and Russian Museum. He received 4 awards, including Knight of the Legion of Honour, Commander of the Order of Leopold.
