Émile Clapeyron (* 26. January 1799 in Paris; † 28. January 1864 in Paris) was a französischer Physiker. He was 65 years old. His education included École polytechnique, Mines ParisTech and College of Juilly. He worked at Emperor Alexander Institute of Railway Engineers, École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne, line from Paris-Saint-Lazare to Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Sharp, Stewart and Company and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. His awards include Officer of the Legion of Honour and 72 names on the Eiffel Tower. He was buried at Montmartre Cemetery.
