Biography of Eri Klas

Eri Klas (* 7. June 1939 in Tallinn; † 26. February 2016 in Tallinn) was an estonian conductor. He was 76 years old. He was married to Ülle Ulla. His education included Georg Ots Music School of Tallinn and Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He received 6 awards, including People's Artist of the USSR, Royal Order of the Polar Star. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Rahumäe Cemetery.
