Deutscher Psychoanalytiker, Philosoph und Sozialpsychologe
Erich Fromm (* 23. March 1900 in Frankfurt; † 18. March 1980 in Muralto) was a deutscher Psychoanalytiker, Philosoph und Sozialpsychologe. He was 79 years old. He was married to Frieda Fromm-Reichmann. His education included Goethe University Frankfurt, Heidelberg University and New York University. He worked at National Autonomous University of Mexico, Columbia University, University of Michigan and New York University. His awards include Humanist of the Year, Nelly Sachs Prize and Goethe Plaque of the City of Frankfurt.
