Erich Hartmann (* 19. April 1922 in Weissach; † 20. September 1993 in Weil im Schönbuch) was a deutscher Luftwaffenoffizier und Jagdflieger. He was 71 years old. His awards include Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds, German Cross in Gold and Pilot Badge (Nazi Germany). His cause of death was brain cancer.
