Biography of Erling Blöndal Bengtsson

Erling Blöndal Bengtsson (* 8. March 1932 in Copenhagen; † 6. June 2013 in Ann Arbor) was a dänischer Cellist. He was 81 years old. He studied at Curtis Institute of Music. He worked at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and University of Michigan. His awards include Knight of the 1st Class of the Order of the Dannebrog, Grand Knights of the Order of the Falcon‎ and Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog. He was buried at Holavallagarður.
