Biography of Ernest Will

Ernest Will (* 25. April 1913 in Uhrwiller; † 24. September 1997 in Paris) was a französischer Klassischer Archäologe. He was 84 years old. He was married to Germaine Will. His education included École Normale Supérieure, French School at Athens, University of Strasbourg and Jean Sturm Gymnasium. He worked at University of Paris, Lycée Thiers, University of Lyon, University of Burgundy Europe, Collège-lycée Ampère, University of Lille and Institut Français d'Archéologie Orientale. His awards include Commander of the French Order of Academic Palms, Officer of Arts and Letters and Officer of the Legion of Honour.
