Biography of Ernst Bickel

Ernst Bickel (* 26. November 1876 in Wiesbaden; † 10. April 1961 in Bonn) was a deutscher Klassischer Philologe. He was 84 years old. His education included University of Bonn and University of Strasbourg. He worked at University of Bonn, Kiel University and University of Greifswald. He was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was buried at Nordfriedhof.
