Biography of Ernst Carl Gerlach Stückelberg

Ernst Carl Gerlach Stückelberg (* 1. February 1905 in Basel; † 4. September 1984 in Geneva) was a schweizer Physiker und Mathematiker. He was 79 years old. His education included Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, University of Basel and Gymnasium am Münsterplatz. He worked at University of Zurich, University of Geneva, University of Lausanne, Princeton University and University of Basel. His awards include Max Planck Medal and Fellow of the American Physical Society. He was buried at Cemetery of Kings.
