Ernst Nittner (* 10. March 1915 in Kadaň; † 11. May 1997 in Flintsbach) was a deutscher Historiker. He was 82 years old. His education included philosophy faculty of the German university of Prague and Deutsche wissenschaftliche Prüfungs-kommission für das Lehramt an Mittelschulen in Prag. He worked at Bundeswehr University Munich. He was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit.
