Biography of Ernst Toch

Ernst Toch (* 7. December 1887 in Vienna; † 1. October 1964 in Santa Monica) was a deutsch-österreichischer Komponist. He was 76 years old. He was married to Lilly Toch. He studied at Hoch Conservatory. He worked at University of Southern California. His awards include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Pulitzer Prize for Music. He was buried at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery.
