Biography of Erwin Wickert

Erwin Wickert (* 7. January 1915 in Bralitz; † 26. March 2008 in Oberwinter) was a deutscher Diplomat und Schriftsteller. He was 93 years old. His education included Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Dickinson College and Heidelberg University. He worked at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
