Ferdinand Braun (* 6. June 1850 in Fulda; † 20. April 1918 in New York City) was a deutscher Physiker, Nobelpreis für Physik 1909. He was 67 years old. He was married to Amélie Bühler. His education included University of Marburg, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and University of Strasbourg. He worked at University of Tübingen, University of Marburg, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and University of Würzburg. His awards include Nobel Prize in Physics and honorary doctor of the Vienna Technical University. He was buried at Alter Dompfarrlicher Friedhof.
