Ferdinand Brunot (* 6. November 1860 in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges; † 7. January 1938 in Paris) was a französischer Linguist und Romanist. He was 77 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure, Faculty of Arts of Paris and Lycée Louis-le-Grand. He worked at Faculty of Arts of Paris, University of Lyon and École normale supérieure de jeunes filles. He received 8 awards, including prix Archon-Despérouses, Honorary doctor of the University of Liège. He was buried at Neuilly-sur-Seine New Communal Cemetery.
