Biography of Feza Gürsey

Feza Gürsey (* 7. April 1921 in Istanbul; † 13. April 1992 in New Haven) was a türkischer theoretischer Physiker. He was 71 years old. His education included Imperial College London, Galatasaray High School, Istanbul University and University of Cambridge. He worked at Yale University, Columbia University and Middle East Technical University. He received 4 awards, including Commendatore, Wigner Medal. His cause of death was prostate cancer. He was buried at Anadolu Hisarı Cemetery.
