Biography of Francesco Gabrieli

Francesco Gabrieli (* 27. April 1904 in Rome; † 13. December 1996 in Rome) was an italienischer Arabist und Orientalist. He was 92 years old. He worked at University of Palermo and Sapienza University of Rome. His awards include Balzan Prize, Feltrinelli Prize and honorary doctor of the Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
