François Roddier (* 23. September 1936 in 14th arrondissement of Paris; † 19. August 2023 in Hyères) was a french astronomer. He was 86 years old. He studied at École Normale Supérieure. He worked at University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, National Optical Astronomy Observatory and University of Hawaiʻi System. His awards include Prix Jules Janssen and Muhlmann Prize.
