François Valière (* 30. September 1826 in Eymoutiers; † 20. December 1882 in 8th arrondissement of Paris) was a french general and colonial governor. He was 56 years old. He studied at École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr. He was awarded the Commander of the Legion of Honour.
