Biography of Franjo Tuđman

Franjo Tuđman (* 14. May 1922 in Veliko Trgovišće; † 10. December 1999 in Zagreb) was an erster Staatspräsident Kroatiens. He was 77 years old. He was married to Ankica Tuđman. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Military Academy Belgrade and University of Zadar. He worked at Croatian Institute of History and Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb. He received 10 awards, including Zhukov Medal, Grand Order of King Tomislav. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Mirogoj Cemetery.
