Franklin Post Metcalf (* 10. June 1892 in Oberlin; † 3. April 1955) was an uS-amerikanischer Botaniker, Zoologe und Forschungsreisender. He was 62 years old. His education included Oberlin College, Harvard University and Cornell University. He worked at Cornell University, United States Department of Agriculture, Fukien Christian University and Arnold Arboretum. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
