Franz August Schmölders (* 1. January 1809 in Rhede; † 1. January 1880 in Wrocław) was a deutscher Orientalist. He was 71 years old. He studied at University of Bonn. He worked at University of Bonn and University of Wrocław. He was awarded the Gold medal of the Royal proof of gratitude.
