Franz Prášil (* 16. September 1857 in Bad Radkersburg; † 3. January 1929 in Zurich) was a österreichischer Maschinenbauer und Hochschullehrer. He was 71 years old. He studied at Graz University of Technology. His awards include honorary doctorate from the University of Stuttgart, honorary doctor of the University of Zurich and Honorary doctor of the Technical University of Graz.
