Biography of Franz Schmidt

Franz Schmidt (* 22. December 1874 in Bratislava; † 11. February 1939 in Perchtoldsdorf) was a österreichischer Komponist. He was 64 years old. He was married to Karoline Schmidt and Margarethe Schmidt. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). He studied at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He worked at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. His awards include Order of Franz Joseph and honorary doctor of the University of Vienna. He was buried at Vienna Central Cemetery.
