Biography of Franz Volhard

Franz Volhard (* 2. May 1872 in Munich; † 24. May 1950 in Frankfurt) was a deutscher Nephrologe. He was 78 years old. His education included University of Bonn, University of Strasbourg and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. He worked at Goethe University Frankfurt and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. His awards include Goethe Plaque of the City of Frankfurt, Cothenius Medal and doctor honoris causa from the University of Paris. He was buried at Frankfurt Main Cemetery.
