
Chinese American mechanical engineering professor
Frederick F. Ling (* 2. January 1927 in Qingdao; † 8. November 2014 in New York City) was a chinese American mechanical engineering professor. He was 87 years old. His education included Carnegie Mellon University and St. John's University. He worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and University of Texas at Austin. He was awarded the Charles Russ Richards Memorial Award.
