Biography of Friedrich Braun

Friedrich Braun (* 20. July 1862 in Saint Petersburg; † 14. June 1942 in Leipzig) was a germanist und Altphilologe. He was 79 years old. He was married to Eugenia Mikhailovna Studenskaya. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He studied at Faculty of History and Philology of St. Petersburg University. He worked at Leipzig University and Saint Petersburg State University. He was buried at Leipzig South Cemetery.
