Biography of Friedrich Schur

Friedrich Schur (* 27. January 1856 in Maciejew; † 18. March 1932 in Wrocław) was a deutscher Mathematiker. He was 76 years old. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). He studied at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He worked at Imperial University of Dorpat, Leipzig University, RWTH Aachen University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and University of Strasbourg. He was awarded the Lobachevsky Prize.
