Biography of Frithjof Smith-Hald

Frithjof Smith-Hald (* 13. September 1846 in Kristiansand; † 11. March 1903 in Chicago) was a norwegischer Landschaftsmaler. He was 56 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Academy of Fine Arts, Karlsruhe, Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry. He received 4 awards, including Knight of the Order of St. Olav‎, Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms. His cause of death was pneumonia.
