Biography of Gábor A. Somorjai

Gábor A. Somorjai (* 4. May 1935 in Budapest; † 7. July 2025 in Palo Alto) was an uS-amerikanisch-ungarischer Chemiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 90 years old. His education included Budapest University of Technology and Economics and University of California, Berkeley. He worked at IBM, University of California, Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Fellow of the American Physical Society.
