Galina Volchek (* 19. December 1933 in Moscow; † 26. December 2019 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian theater and film director, actress and teacher. She was 86 years old. She was married to Mark Jurjewitsch Abelew. She studied at Moscow Art Theatre School. She received 10 awards, including USSR State Prize, People's Artist of the USSR. Her cause of death was pneumonia. She was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
