Biography of Gavin H. Mooney

Gavin H. Mooney (* 30. October 1943 in Glasgow; † 19. December 2012 in Mountain River) was a mA; Dept. of Community Medicine, Univ. of Aberdeen); Direktor der dortigen Health Econ. Res. Unit. Ab 1994 Prof. für Gesundheitsökonomik und Direktor der Social and Public Health Economics Research Group (SPHERe) an der Curtin Univ., Perth, Austr. He was 69 years old. He studied at University of Edinburgh. He worked at Department of Health and Social Security, University of Aberdeen, University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway, University of Copenhagen and Curtin University. He was awarded the honorary doctorate of the University of Cape Town. His cause of death was blunt trauma.
