Biography of George Levitine

George Levitine (* 1. January 1916 in Kharkiv; † 2. September 1989) was a scholar of art history. He was 73 years old. His education included Paris-Sorbonne University - Paris IV, Boston University, Harvard University and Lycée Louis-le-Grand. He worked at Boston University, Harvard Extension School and University of Maryland. He was awarded the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
