Biography of George Mikan

George Mikan (* 18. June 1924 in Joliet; † 1. June 2005 in Scottsdale) was an american basketball player, coach, commissioner. He was 80 years old. His education included Joliet Catholic Academy, Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary and DePaul University. His awards include All-NBA Team and NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant Most Valuable Player Award. His cause of death was diabetes. He was buried at Lakewood Cemetery.
