Biography of George S. Hammond

George S. Hammond (* 22. May 1921 in Auburn; † 5. October 2005 in Portland) was an uS-amerikanischer Chemiker. He was 84 years old. His education included Harvard University and Bates College. He worked at Iowa State University, California Institute of Technology, University of California, Santa Cruz and University of Iowa. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, National Medal of Science.
