E. C. George Sudarshan (* 16. September 1931 in Pallom; † 14. May 2018 in Austin) was an indian physicist. He was 86 years old. His education included Madras Christian College, University of Rochester, University of Madras, CMS College Kottayam and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. His faith was Vedanta. He received 8 awards, including Padma Bhushan, Dirac Medal for the Advancement of Physics.
