Biography of Georgi Iwanowitsch Petrow

Georgi Iwanowitsch Petrow (* 18. May 1912 in Pinega; † 13. May 1987 in Moscow) was a russischer Ingenieur. He was 74 years old. His education included MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics and Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow Imperial University. He worked at Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian Space Research Institute, All-Russian Scientific Research Institute Of Technical Physics, Institute for Problems in Mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Keldysh Research Center. He received 5 awards, including Stalin Prize, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Kuntsevo Cemetery.
