Gerald Wilson (* September 4, 1918 in Shelby; † September 8, 2014 in Los Angeles) was an american trumpetist. He was 96 years old. He studied at Cass Technical High School. He was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters. His cause of death was pneumonia.
